Erica Moore was born in Charleston, West Virginia. She is presently in the MFA Studio Art program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Erica received her BFA in Sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Her studio practice was recently referred to as 'Hillbilly Conceptual' and she kind of likes that title, for right now, anyway. She likes to be in trees.
